Rockit 2012 set to rock!
Saturday Night’s ‘Rockit 2012’ is loaded with talent. Rock 'N Roll All Stars. Runaway Boys. And Special Guests... And more on the night... all for just $15 per head!
Rockit ’12 starts at 7.30pm and rocks through until 12.30am, tickets are on sale now from Neil Roper (09) 827 4784 or 021 076 6507 or email rockitdance@hotmail.com for just $15 a pop.

The Peoples' Choice
Each year one car wins the prestigious 'peoples' choice' award. The cars are invited back into the show the following year and is the only car that can be in the main shed for two years in a row (keeps the display fresh). It is also the poster car, and is used on all flyers and other advertising material.
There are many fresh cars in the main show shed this year, which one will take out the coveted people's choice award?

Special Attractions
 When you need a bit of relief from the sunshine, duck into one of the display sheds. Several clubs are putting on special displays, including the MPH model car club, back again this year with more of its marvelous miniatures.

No camping
Okay, don’t panic – the event hasn’t banned ‘sleep overs’. It’s just that Independent Promotions provides show participants the opportunity to pitch a tent and stay overnight, it’s not a camp site for people who just want to party. By participants they mean swappers, indoor/outdoor car displayers, and trade site holders. And a word of advice – if you’re overnighting and have had a beer don’t go for a cruise around the showgrounds in your car; you can still be charged with drink-driving, and the police will be stopping by.
